CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of a cancellation, no refunds will be given, this is due to you having access to the training material before the course date, effectively starting your training prior to your course date.
LATE POLICY
We politely ask that you arrive 15 minutes before the start of your course to allow you ample time for enrolment, locating the facilities and to make yourself comfortable.
If you are unable to arrive for your course on time, please advise us as soon as possible preferably by telephone.
If you are more than 30 minutes late for your course, unfortunately you will not be accepted on to the training session. This is unfair to disrupt other students learning and we cannot guarantee that we are able to re-cover the missed theory/ practical information.
You will have the option to be re-booked onto another course date and will need to pay the £35.00 non-refundable re-booking fee. You have 7 days from the date of your original course to book onto another date, or any fees will be lost. Any transfers or re-bookings must be taken within 6 months of the original date of booking, course fees will be lost after this time.
NO SHOW POLICY
For any no-shows, where the student does not arrive on the day of their training and no communication has been made to inform us of any changes, the late policy will apply.
TRANSFER/ AMENDMENT POLICY
If you request to transfer to an alternative date, a non-refundable transfer re-booking fee will apply as follows:

14 days or less prior to your training day, a £35.00 non-refundable transfer re-booking fee applies. You have 7 days from the date of the request to book onto another date, or any fees will be lost.

15 days or more prior to your course, a £20.00 non-refundable transfer re-booking fee applies. You have 7 days from the date of the request to book onto another date, or any fees will be lost.
Any transfers or re-bookings must be taken within 6 months of the original date of booking, course fees will expire after this time.
COURSE FEES
To secure your course place, a minimum deposit of £35 is required upon booking. We cannot reserve a training place without a deposit. The remainder of your course fees can be paid either before your course date, or on the day of your course, students are required to pay in full before the course commences. No refunds will be given, this is due to you having access to the training material before the course date, effectively starting your training prior to your course date. We reserve the right to alter training fees and dates without liability. All course fees are in Great British Pounds GBP.
PRIVACY POLICY
We may collect personal information such as your name, contact number, address and email. We agree to use and store this data in accordance with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and The Data Protection Act 2018, and will not share your information with a third party without your consent. Students and models must agree to disclose any medical or health problems during their consultation before any treatments.

Patch testing
To allow students to be able to work on each other to complete the practical training, we require a patch test to be carried out 48 hours prior to training in the following courses

This allows students to be able to work on a person rather than a training dummy, helping to build confidence and gain their qualification. Upon booking you will need to need to confirm how you are going to carry out your patch test

2)Purchasing your own products and patch testing yourself
3)Purchasing our patch testing home kit, which is sent out to you for £3.00 (includes postage and packaging)
Accreditation
Our courses are fully accredited with either Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT) or Beauty Industry Approval (BIA). It is the students responsibility to check that their current or potential insurer will accept our certificate. We cannot be held responsible in the event that your insurer does not accept our certificate.
Submitting coursework/ homework
Students must ensure that all coursework is their own. All coursework must be submitted within 6 months of your course date. Coursework cannot be accepted after this date and students will need to re-take the training course, subject to fees.
Any coursework or case studies that do not meet industry standards will need to be carried out again and re-submitted. We will provide you with constructive feedback and pointers to help you improve any areas that need attention.
Practical sessions/ models
Students must be prepared to give and receive a treatment as part of their practical training. Students will be working on each other during the training day. Please contact us in advance if you are unable to receive a treatment, this is so we can make arrangements for models if need be. Please note, unfortunately we unable to accommodate for friends or family that are not modelling, we need to focus on your training and find that friends or family waiting can be disruptive to the training session. Please be aware that nail enhancements, gel polish and nail polish must be removed from the nails prior to nail courses. We also ask that any eyelash extensions are removed before training in eyelash tinting, eyelash lifting and eyelash extensions.
If you need further training or are unsuccessful on your training day we invite you back free of charge to another training date to help improve your skills to meet the industry standards.
Equality/ Inclusion
We promote a diverse training environment and do NOT tolerate any types of discrimination. Students may be asked to leave for displaying unacceptable behaviour. No refunds will be given in these circumstances, students will not be given the option to re-book onto any courses.
For students with any learning difficulties, disabilities or students who require extra support during training, we welcome you to contact us prior to your course date to discuss any needs. This gives us an opportunity to make any amendments to ensure our training is inclusive and tailored to your individual needs.
We (Stanworth Beauty Training) reserve the right to amend any parts of our policies, course dates or fees without liability.
